A Celebration of Culture and Youth: Renaissance Africa Launches Where Are You From?
On November 18, 2023, Renaissance Africa, a vibrant publishing house committed to crafting children’s and young adult literature that celebrates African culture, marked a significant milestone with the launch of its book Where Are You From? The event unfolded from 10:30 to 13:30 at the House of Resources, located at Johannesstraße 136/137, 49074 Osnabrück, Germany, drawing a diverse crowd of authors, illustrators, educators, and community members eager to embrace this cultural celebration.
The launch highlighted Renaissance Africa’s mission to inspire young readers through educational and entertaining stories rooted in African heritage. Where Are You From?, a beautifully crafted book, was illustrated and edited by committed youths from Cameroon, showcasing their talent and dedication. The book’s availability in four languages—German, French, English, and Ewondo—reflects the publisher’s commitment to accessibility and cultural resonance, bridging continents and languages to connect with children worldwide.
